More room without more footprint
A second storey set back from the street keeps the terrace reading as it always has, while nearly doubling the usable space inside. The setback was not a planning compromise — it is what keeps the original parapet as the thing you see from the footpath.

Two bedrooms and a bathroom sit within the new setback, lit from the rear so the street facade needed no new openings.
